Word Rush Arena · Effective 15 October 2026
In short: Word Rush Arena does not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts or photos, and it has no chat. To run online matches and leaderboards, the app uses an anonymous ID created by Google Firebase, a generated player name, the emblem you pick, and your game results. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. You can delete everything from the app's Settings at any time.
Who we are
Word Rush Arena is made by HomiLabs ("we", "us"). Contact: homilabs.smc@gmail.com.
Who the app is for
The game is for teenagers and adults (13 and over). It is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, write to us and we will delete the related records.
What we store, and why
| Data | Why | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous ID: a random string created by Firebase Authentication the first time the app goes online. It is not linked to a name, email, phone number or Google account. | To tell players apart in matches and on leaderboards, and to let you delete your own records. | Google Firebase |
| Generated player name (for example "Swift Falcon 42") and the emblem you choose | To show who you are playing against and who is on the leaderboards. Names are generated by the app; nobody types a name. | On your device and in Firebase |
| Game profile: coins, trophies, wins, matches played, this week's points and your longest word | To run the weekly and all-time leaderboards and your rank tier. | On your device and in Firebase |
| Match data: the words each player claims, their points and when they were claimed | To run the live match and decide the winner. | Google Firebase, deleted about a day after the match |
| Matchmaking and room entries: your player name, emblem and trophies while you wait for a match | To find opponents and fill private rooms. | Google Firebase, removed when the match starts or you leave |
| Daily Challenge scores: player name, emblem, trophies, score and number of words | To show each day's Daily leaderboard. | Google Firebase, until you delete your data |
| Settings (sound, vibration), owned shop items, login streak and achievements | To remember your choices and progress. | Only on your device |
The app has no ads and uses no advertising ID, no analytics, no crash-reporting service, and no location, camera, microphone, contacts or storage permission. The only permissions it uses are internet access and the network-state checks that Firebase needs to know when you are online.
What other players can see
Other players can see your generated name, your emblem, your tier and trophies, your scores and the words you claim in a match, and your entries on the leaderboards. They cannot see anything else about you, and they cannot message you.
Service provider
The online part of the game runs on Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), with data stored in Google's Mumbai (asia-south1) region. Google processes this data on our behalf and, like any internet service, sees technical connection data such as IP addresses. See Firebase's privacy information. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
- Match data: about one day (the app removes finished matches).
- Matchmaking and room entries: until the match starts or you leave; silent entries are swept after two minutes.
- Your game profile and Daily scores: until you delete your data. Profiles with no activity for 24 months may be removed.
Delete your data
In the app: Settings → Delete my data. This removes your game profile, your Daily scores, any matchmaking entry and your anonymous ID from our servers, and resets the app on your device. It cannot be undone.
If you no longer have the app, email homilabs.smc@gmail.com with your player name (for example "Swift Falcon 42") and the approximate date you last played, and we will delete the matching records within 30 days. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device.
Security
All traffic between the app and Firebase is encrypted (HTTPS). Server rules limit every player to writing only their own records.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
